Tay Bac University respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal data of website visitors in accordance with the Law on Personal Data Protection No. 91/2025/QH15, Decree No. 356/2025/NĐ-CP detailing its implementation and other relevant regulations. By voluntarily submitting information through the forms on this website after being informed under this Policy, you provide the basis for the University to process your data for the purposes described below.

This Policy applies to the official website of Tay Bac University and its information pages. Other University systems, such as the student portal (Digital University) and the online learning system (LMS), may have their own policies and terms of use; please refer to the corresponding policy when using those systems.

a) Data you provide. When you register for admission counselling or send a contact form or question, the University may receive: full name; telephone number; email address; name of your upper secondary school; programme of interest; the content of your question or comment.

b) Data recorded automatically. When you visit the website, the system may record technical information such as IP address, device type, operating system, browser, language, pages viewed, time of access and referring source, through server logs, cookies and web analytics tools (see section 7).

The University does not ask you to provide sensitive personal data (such as personal identification numbers, health status or financial information) through the website forms. Please do not include such information in your questions.

  • Contacting you, providing admission counselling, answering questions and responding to your requests.
  • Sending information on admissions, programmes and scholarships in which you have registered interest.
  • Analysing website traffic to improve content, design and service quality.
  • Ensuring cybersecurity; detecting and preventing unauthorised access and violations.
  • Fulfilling legal obligations or requests from competent state authorities.

The University does not use your personal data for purposes other than those stated without notifying you and obtaining your consent, unless otherwise provided by law.

  • The University does not sell personal data in any form.
  • Data is only transferred to authorised units and staff within the University to fulfil the stated purposes (for example, the admissions counselling team or the relevant faculty).
  • The University may use third-party services to operate the website (hosting, web analytics, email). These parties may only process data as instructed by the University and must keep it secure in accordance with the law.
  • Data may be provided to competent state authorities upon lawful request.

  • Data is stored only as long as necessary for the stated purposes or as required by law; afterwards it is deleted, destroyed or de-identified.
